Overview

Dr. Hye Ryung Yang is a radiologist with specialty expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. She is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Yang is experienced in the diagnosis of conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system, including sports injuries, soft tissue and bone tumors, arthritis, and spine and nerve conditions. She also provides image-guided musculoskeletal interventions such as joint injections/aspirations, barbotage, and soft tissue and bone tumor biopsies.

Dr. Yang received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Her postdoctoral training consists of a preliminary internal medicine internship at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, a four-year diagnostic radiology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention at NYU Langone Medical Center.
