Vladimir Sheynzon, MD is an Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He is a graduate of Hunter College (CUNY) with a BS degree. After completing medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 2003, he completed one year of Internal Medicine Residiency at Long Island Jewish Medicial Center in New Hyde Park, NY and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at The Mount Sinai Hospital/Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He subsequently joined the division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the State University of New York, Stony Brook Health Sciences Center at the rank of Assistant Professor of Cinical Radiology. In November 2009. Dr. Sheynzon joined the faculty at Columbia University Medical Center, Department of Radiology/Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the rank of Assistant Professor of Radiology.

Columbia University has a highly respected Radiology residency program and a thriving Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship program. Dr. Sheynzon is actively involved in teaching of the radiology residents and Interventional Radiology fellows at Columbia University Medical Center.
