Overview

Dr. Hediyeh Baradaran is an associate professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is a board-certified radiologist specializing in neuroradiology. Dr. Baradaran serves as chief of the Division of Neuroradiology at Columbia.

Dr. Baradaran’s clinical and research expertise is focused on cerebrovascular disease and stroke imaging. She has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and is the recipient of multiple research and career development awards, including the Scholar Award in Neuroradiology from the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), the General Electric Radiology Research Award Fellowship (GERRAF), and the Women in Neuroradiology Leadership Development Scholarship.

After earning her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, Dr. Baradaran completed residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She continued at Weill Cornell for fellowship training in neuroradiology. She holds a Master of Science in clinical investigation from the University of Utah.
